In the heart of Manhattan, construction is usually considered "background noise", an industrial eyesore to be hidden behind plywood hoardings. But for Prada’s Fifth Avenue flagship, the Italian house has collaborated with design studio 2x4 to prove that even mandatory infrastructure can be a medium for high-art storytelling.
