Prada & Miu Miu Take Over Liberty
Liberty, London
A full-scale visual takeover has landed at Liberty. Inside and out, the historic department store is transformed by Prada’s serene “Days of Summer” campaign and Miu Miu’s vibrant, playful window stories. In a world awash with digital noise, this is a reminder of the emotional impact that physical brand worlds can deliver, where materials, movement, and mood converge to create something unforgettable.

Where Calm Meets Craft
At the heart of the activation is Prada’s reimagining of Liberty’s iconic atrium. Overhead, a fleet of Gozzo boats floats serenely above the space, creating a suspended seascape that draws the eye upward and slows the pace. Beneath, mirrored flooring shimmers like water, with Prada’s latest eyewear collection carefully displayed aboard a moored boat. It’s a moment of pause and reflection, transporting visitors from central London into a dreamlike escape. Outside, Miu Miu disrupts with energy. The windows are awash with colourful tiled backdrops and bold, layered displays that exude a playful intensity, offering an expressive contrast to Prada’s calm interior world. Together, they form a campaign that shifts as you move, encouraging exploration and rewarding the curious.
A Masterclass in Immersive Retail
This is more than just beautiful storytelling, it’s a tangible reminder of what physical retail can do when it’s done well. Every surface, sightline and suspension is intentional, turning Liberty into a three-dimensional campaign you can walk through, feel, and photograph. In a time when brand relevance increasingly lives online, it’s these IRL moments that cut through, inviting real-world connection and memory-making.

Made to Be Experienced
Produced and installed by the team at StudioXAG, the activation translates campaign imagery into sculptural form, turning brand narrative into spatial theatre. Product isn’t simply displayed, it’s staged: each pair of sunglasses becomes part of a larger scene, helping customers imagine not just how it looks, but how it feels.
Why It Matters
When brands build experiences you can physically step inside, they unlock something digital never can, atmosphere, emotion, and immersion. Prada and Miu Miu’s Liberty takeover is a powerful example of the role retail still plays in culture: not just selling product, but creating spaces that spark joy, wonder, and real-life engagement.
It’s not just a campaign. It’s a reason to visit.
