SDD25/15_01: Rhode’s now-iconic photo booth made a bold return to Coachella this year, but with a twist. Teaming up with 818 Tequila, the skincare brand founded by Hailey Bieber brought its viral activation back to the desert, this time setting up at the 818 Outpost. Originally launched in 2024, the Rhode Booth quickly became one of the most talked-about experiences of the festival, generating over 2.5 million impressions on social media. The booth blends sleek visual merchandising with playful interactivity: festival-goers insert a Rhode-branded coin, snap a few photos, and walk away with a free lip tint and mini bottle of 818. It’s simple, sharable, and seriously clever.


This collaboration between Rhode and 818, co-founded by Kendall Jenner, perfectly captures the power of pop culture partnerships in retail design. The booth’s clean, minimal aesthetic, layered with just the right amount of branded detail, invites passersby into a tactile, on-brand world that feels equal parts luxe and laid-back. By combining beauty and beverage in a single, seamless moment, the activation proves how physical experiences can cut through festival noise and spark massive digital buzz.
